You join by enrolling on the next available module. If you are keen to join as soon as possible see dates above for forthcoming modules: How many modules must I take to qualify? This is the current criteria as of September 2008: Diploma Courses: 16 - Theta DNA Healing (3 day course) What is the fastest time in which I can take the diploma course and what is the cost? The Diploma courses are usually taken over a period of between one and two years (but taking longer is fine). Participants join by taking their first module. At this stage if you wish to get a taster without committing to the entire Diploma you can pay a £135 deposit and take any three of the 2 day modules (paying the balance of £180 for each module by cheque up to one week before each course or by cash on the first day). Nearly everyone will then go on to take the Diploma and you can still earn a 10% deposit on the remaining Diploma fee by paying the balance at this stage or if you prefer continue paying £135 deposits for 3 modules as you go. If you would like to pay for the entire Diploma in advance or installments and earn a substantial discount the payment options are as follows: Spiritual Counselling Diploma Reading the Souls Contract Course can be taken independently of the Diploma at £395 Do you have concessionary rates or bursaries available? In exceptional circumstances, for example if you are working in the caring professions on a very low wage a bursary may be considered. Generally speaking we would encourage people to attend to their financial circumstances before considering embarking on a course such as this. It is also important to be aware that even on qualifying although there are exceptions it takes most people some time before they can make a living full time in this field. Furthermore, the teachers and all who put much dedication into helping run Holistic Healing College deserve a fair exchange. Where does the course take place? Most courses take place at one of our Central London Venues. Any additional costs for the Diplomas We run weekly Qi Gong and energy, practise and development classes open to all students on the course – attendance is optional and probably more practical for London based students (the weekly class fee is about £10). Additionally there is an assessment fee at the end of the course, which is £75 and a £20 admin fee for certification and registration. I am interested in one or two of your courses modules for personal development but do not feel ready to take a Diploma course. Is this possible? Yes you can choose to take any three 2 day course modules individually or the Reading the Souls Contract course as a one off (subject to space). What about ethics, accreditation and recognition of the diploma course? Holistic Healing College is a fully registered CMA college and our syllabus has been fully validated. We have our own code of ethics (available on request) and also subscribe to those of the Complementary Medical association. Additionally the Hypnotherapy and NLP related modules have been accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council. The Complementary Medical Association in particular, have been particularly effective at championing our work in the media and bridging the perceived gap with conventional medical approaches. Graduates of our courses will be eligible to join the appropriate organisation as a validated practioner eligible for their insurance scheme. Insurance for graduates wishing to start practising can also be arranged directly by us. I am interested in your Diploma course but have covered some of your syllabus in previous training? Then exemption from certain modules may be possible or a discount (depending on whether your previous training is recognised by certain criteria such as insurance eligibility). In practise most students in this position once having joined the course ask to retake these areas at a discount as they enjoy our approach. Conditions Holistic
Healing College reserves the right to alter the structure, content and
name of any of our courses, replace advertised facilitators (with other
qualified facilitators) and refuse admission to any person considered
unsuitable, without explanation. Although
holistic healing and spiritual counselling are used to treat a wide
range of conditions (both mental and physical) this course may not be
suitable for those persons experiencing certain mental/physical
conditions. If you are experiencing a mental condition that has or may
warrant psychiatric attention you must seek advice from a qualified
medical practitioner. The same is true of any serious physical
condition. If you are in any doubt as to your suitability contact us
for further information. In order
to avoid the high cost and waste of e.g. constantly reprinting
brochures and administration we wish to state that it is possible that
over time there may be some changes to the courses, venues or other
information outlined in our brochure or other promotional material. Once you are on the
Diploma course and have paid a discounted full fee, deposit or part
installment there will be no refunds if your circumstances do not allow
you to complete the course. However you will be offered the
opportunity to join the course at a later date (must be within a year
and a half). Furthermore it
will always be assumed (unless we have been told otherwise in advance)
that you will attending each subsequent module. You don't have to
attend each one in order - you can miss one and take it next time
around* but we do need plenty of notice. We understand
there will sometimes be a good reason why someone cannot attend at
short notice but even in such cases we have to have some fall back for
the financial implications this has on the running of the College. Therefore if you are on the Diploma but cannot attend a module: with 4 weeks or more notice given there is no penalty and you just take the module next time around with 2 to 4 weeks notice you must pay 25% of the current module price when you take it the next time around with 24 hours to 2 weeks notice you must pay 50% of the module price when you take it the next time around with no show / no notice given you must pay 100% of the module price when you take it the next time around These charges will apply
whether or not a module is fully booked, as in the greater scheme of
things we will still need to fit you in next time and such things
affect our marketing budget, time and administration. Furthermore on a
more abstract level we always take into consideration (or have a
meeting with the Teacher prior to the course to discuss) the current
group dynamic which can change considerably with the absence or
addition of even one individual. * It may be possible to
take (only certain) missed modules privately with the Tutor but this
will incur the additional Teachers fee. |
