About the Diploma Courses at the The Holistic Healing College
Our Diploma courses are made up of a number of related modules. Everything you learn is then brought together in an integration module (towards the end of the course). All the many skills and all the knowledge gained with us (and any previous knowledge) is then put into a structure that can be used to address the varied issues our clients bring. Most modules are 2 day mini-courses which are credited towards a Diploma. There is also plenty of practice with other students and towards the end you are shown how to combine what you have learnt into a full spiritual counselling session, where you will have up to 30 different healing interventions to work with (though in practise most students usually use only the methods learnt that have most strongly resonated with them).
Those taking the Diploma are expected to engage in background reading and there is a final assessment with a real client, which everyone who takes the course feels comfortable to carry out by the end.
Diploma courses are usually taken over a period of approximately one and a half years, or in most cases a little less. If you cannot make the date for a particular module (having giving us notice) you simply take it the next time it comes round, at a £25 retake fee (or in some cases where you need to complete quickly, but have not been able to make a particular date, it may be possible to take a missed module earlier with another group, though this incurs a transfer fee of £45, as it creates logistical and admin complications). There is a module most months, though it is possible to have one or two free months, or (though rarely happens) a month where two modules occur, but you will know your schedule well in advance.
